I can’t believe I have been in England for almost a month already! Time has flown since I landed in Heathrow a few weeks ago and I am definitely settling in. I sometimes miss little things from “home” but home is here now and for the first time in a very long while, I feel like I belong. And let’s face it, waking up with Edward every morning is way better than having to sneak out of the office for a quick lunchtime chat!
There are still little difficulties but it means there are also little victories to celebrate:
• I went running alone and didn’t get lost.
• I assisted Edward on a shooting with the Mayor of Lincoln.
• I finally translated my CV.
I shall have a bit more time to write this week and I plan on finishing many draughts that have been waiting for ages to be published… This includes a post about our trip to New York this past December and loads of photos that I lastly processed!
