Five Favourites | November 2017

I know these lists are a bit cliché, but I strongly believe in ‘promoting what you love instead of bashing what you hate‘ so I thought I’d share my appreciation for a few great products I’ve bought and/or used lately.

Favourites October 2017

Amir Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser & Humidifier
I was diagnosed with asthma a few months ago. Asthma attacks can have many triggers and dry air caused by electric heating is one of them. This nifty little humidifier (that can also be used as an essential oil diffuser) has helped a lot.

Toggl Time Tracking Software
As its name says, Toggl is a time tracking software. I use it at the office to track the time I spend on different translations but also find it useful to record the time spent writing blog posts or managing my Etsy shop. I particularly like the colour-coding feature.

North Ridge Ainslie Half-Zip Pullover
I bought this top a few days before our latest trip to the Lake District and it turned out to be a really good investment. It kept me warm during our hike. It’s comfortable and fits very well. Perfect for hiking or on chilly runs.

Simple Regeneration Age Resisting Night Cream
I have sensitive skin and I’ve been using Simple for a few years – mostly the soothing eye balm and the light moisturiser. Since moving to the UK, my skin has dried out and I needed to update my skincare routine. I don’t like wearing rich lotions during daytime so this rich night cream is ideal for me.

DK Eyewitness Travel Guides – Prague & Amsterdam
I rarely buy paperbacks anymore, but I always make an exception for travel guides. There is something special about flicking through the pages of a book when planning a trip. We will be visiting Amsterdam in a few days and Prague soon after so adding these guides to our growing collection seemed appropriate.
